Contract Info                                                     

Contract Info is used to view contract information for all contracts in the futures and options segment.

View Contract Information

  1. Click Market Inquiry à Contract Info. Alternatively, press Shift + F8. The Contract Information page is displayed with following details.

  •   Contract Name

  •   Market Lot

  •   Price Tick (Rs.)

  •   Maturity

  •   U/L Asset

  •   IP Date

  •   Ex. Date

  •   Price Quote

  •   Margin %

  •   Exposure Multiplier

  •   Contract Start Date

  •   Contract End Date

  Contract Date

 

  

  •   Contract Start Date

  •   Contract End Date

  •   Tender Start Date

  •   Tender End Date

  •   Delivery Start Date

  •   Delivery End Date

Margin Information

 

 

  •   Other Long Margin

  •   Other Short Margin

  •   Initial Long Margin

  •   Initial Short Margin

  • Exposure Margin

  • Additional Long Margin

  1. Click  (searchicon.jpg). The Look Up field is enabled.

  2. Select an Exchange.

  3. Select an Instrument Type. If only one Instrument is available for an Exchange, the available Instrument Type is applied as default.

The Expiry Date, Strike Price, Option Type display NA, if respective values are unavailable.

  1. Type Symbol. Instant search has been implemented.

Instant search means that whenever you start typing in Symbol field system will start search on Symbol / Scrip Name starting with typed characters.  For example, FIN :It displays a list of securities whose name begins with FIN. Select a security from the list.

  1. Select Series.

  1. Click Add add.gif. The details of the selected scrip are populated in the Contract Info page.
