Order Book                                                         

Order Book provides information regarding all the orders placed for a particular security and contract across all markets segments.

The Order Book screen is used to view, modify, and cancel buy/sell orders.

This topic provides reference about:

 View Order Book Details

  1. From the Main Menu screen, select Reports.

  1. Select Order Book. The Order Book screen is displayed with following details.

  •   Action

  •  Symbol

  •  Qty@Price

  • Status

   
  1. Select Action as (view.gif) against the required Symbol. The Order Book screen is displayed with details.

View the Order Details Using Filter option

  1. From the Main Menu screen, select Reports.

  2. Select Order Book. The Order Book screen is displayed with following details.

  •   Action

  •  Symbol

  •  Qty@Price

  •  Status

   
  1. Select the Exchange (All  or NSE Cash or NSE Derivatives or BSE Cash or NSE Derivatives or MCX Futures or NCDEX Futures or NSEL SPTCOM, MCXSX Currency or DSE Equities or NMCE Futures).

  2. Select Status from the drop-down list. Options available are ALL,Trading, Pending, AMO).

  3. Select Product Type from the drop-down list. Options available are ALL, Margin/intraday, Delivery/Carry Forward, AMO Margin, AMO Delivery, MTF, PTST & Margin Plus.

  4. Select Submit. Based on the selected conditions the Order Book screen is displayed with details.

Modify a Buy/Sell Order

  1. From the Main Menu screen, select Reports.

  2. Select Order Book. The Order Book screen is displayed with following details.

  •   Action

  •  Symbol

  •  Qty@Price

  •  Status

   
  1. Select Action as (mico.gif) against the required Symbol you want to modify in the Order Book. The Order Entry screen is displayed in edit mode.

  2. Modify the data, as required. The editable data values are Order type, Quantity, Price, Disclosed Quantity, Trigger Price, Protection Percentage and Validity.

  3. Select Modify. The Order Entry screen is displayed for confirmation.

  4. Select Confirm. On confirmation a new Buy/Sell order is added to the Order Book screen and the order status is displayed at the top of the order-entry screen.

Cancel a Buy/Sell Order

  1. From the Main Menu screen, select Reports.

  1. Select Order Book. The Order Book screen is displayed with following details.

  •   Action

  •  Symbol

  •  Qty@Price

  •  Status

   
  1. Select Action as (c.gif) against the required Symbol you want to cancel order. The required order is canceled.
